The Manx MSA Trust was one of the charities supported at the Isle of Man Bankers Association Annual Dinner on 28th April held at the Palace Hotel, Douglas. The event was attended by over 170 people from from the finance sector and their guests.
A big thank you to Peter Reid, President, of the Isle of Man Bankers Association and Mark Waterhouse, President of the London Institute of Banking and Finance (LIBF), Isle of Man Centre, for all their support. Thanks too to Barclays Bank who matched the amount collected in the envelope collection.
Entertainment was provided by The Sirens, with some great vocals and Ian Irving, the well known comedian and TV celebrity.
Niall Carey, Head of Communication, Manx MSA Trust attended on behalf of the charity.
The final amount collected will be tallied over the next few days and confirmed once known.

Multiple system atrophy (MSA) is a progressive neurological disorder that affects adult men and women. It is caused by degeneration or atrophy of nerve cells in several (or multiple) areas of the brain which can result in problems with movement, balance and autonomic functions of the body such as bladder and blood pressure control.
